Evolve Named as one of Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For

Houston, TX – The mission of Evolve Performance Group is to help companies create the most dynamic, profitable environment possible through analytics, growth strategies, and ongoing interaction with employees and managers. So as far as the company’s founders are concerned, the truest testing ground of those engagement principles is in their own office, with their own team.

“We are a company focused on creating engaging environments for employees and customers alike so we’d better get this right internally!” said founding partner and chief operating officer Melissa Ortiz. According to a leading national human resources competition, which selected Evolve as one of the 101 Houston businesses with the best corporate climate, this Bryan-based engagement firm is definitely practicing what it preaches.

Representatives from Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For Competition notified Evolve in mid-September that the company had been chosen as one of its 101 winners in the Houston area. The competition, administered by 101 Best and Brightest, operates in seven different regions nationwide, and puts nominated businesses through a two-step survey process that collects input from managers and employees. Evolve will be honored on November 3 at an awards presentation at the Westchase Marriott in Houston.

Ortiz and Jeff Tobaben met while working together at Gallup Consulting, and four years ago they formed Evolve to validate their belief that a company’s internal and external outcomes can be significantly improved with data-driven consulting and a focus on Employee and Customer Engagement. With its unique E5 Framework, Evolve crafts custom solutions for businesses looking to make optimal use of their resources and people using relevant and accurate information gathered inside the workplace.

Evolve’s cultural philosophy was illustrated recently when a team member came back in from lunch and called to office manager Linda Grasley, “Hi Linda, I’m home!” Ortiz believes that episode spoke volumes about Evolve’s success in creating a creative, dynamic environment in which every employee can safely express their ideas and even present contrasting views.
